Concept

With sports betting becoming legal in Ohio in 2021, betJACK Sportsbook was created to introduce a more modern and exciting sports betting experience rooted in Cleveland sports culture. The goal was to build a brand that felt bold, current, and energetic while standing out in a rapidly growing and highly competitive market.

As the brand evolved, the focus became creating a stronger and more recognizable identity that could live across advertising, digital, motion, and the physical sportsbook experience.

Overview

I helped elevate and expand the betJACK Sportsbook brand beyond its original direction by building a more cohesive and visually engaging identity across nearly every touchpoint.

Leading into the launch of legalized sports betting in Ohio, I worked across the rollout of the sportsbook and mobile app creating campaign creative for social media, digital advertising, motion graphics, environmental graphics, promotional campaigns, and on property installations throughout the casino.

Over time, I continued helping shape and manage the overall visual direction of the brand, pushing the creative to feel more modern, energetic, and competitive within the sports betting space.

Because of the fast paced nature of sports betting, the system needed to adapt quickly across campaigns and major sports moments while still maintaining a strong and recognizable visual identity.
